The Good home as a school

When I purchased my home back in 1994, I was told that it had one time been a school. The details were always vague. I had tried to track down more information at the local library, and other sources, without much success. Recently Rebecca and I stumbled upon a book about early Ballard (the name for the part of Seattle we live in) and we discovered the book "Early Ballard" By Julie D. Pheasant-Albright.

Within the book we found a picture of our home, but as an early school for Seattle. Our home is the one in the right of the photo. Both houses were eventually turn into homes, but the one on the left was eventually torn down and a new home built on the same location. When the weather gets warmer, I will go outside and take a "now" photo from the same location that the original photo was taken at.
