J has ski lessons every Saturday. Usually Rebecca takes her because she is taking lessons also. Today I went. It is a great day to be up here, lots of snow and sunshine.

AHG and I picked up J's Girl Scout troop's cookies yesterday. I was worried they wouldn't fit in our van, but they did with room to spare. There were 107 cases total.

Our friends, Greg and Livia, live in St. Petersburg, FL and the other half of our trip to Florida was to visit with them.  We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the city.  I can see why people from the Midwest go down there for the summer.

There was a nice playground the girls were able to show their abilities on the monkey bars.

 ...after playing for a while, we headed for the beach.  Here are the girls with Livia, followed by various pictures of our family relaxing at the beach.

 Every restaurant in Florida served good food, I think I would have to take up marathons if I moved there.

 Rebecca and I tried out their unusual back stretching contraption.  We didn't injure ourselves.

 This is our visit to Casino Carlin.  J really enjoyed the craps table.  The last photo is us teaching her how to win so we can stop saving up for her college education.
