Susan Tedeschi concert and float plane ride

Sorry, I haven't been good about putting in updates lately, in the summer it can get busy around the house. This entry has pictures from when Rebecca, J and I went to see Susan Tedeschi at the Woodland Park Zoo with Greg and Livia, and pictures from the float plane trip Rebecca and I took, also with Greg and Livia.

The Woodland Park Zoo hosts concerts every Wednesday through the summer. I have been going to them for about eight years, it has been fun to go with my family the last two years. J was only a few weeks old when she went to her first concert last year. These pictures are from the Susan Tedeschi concert a few weeks ago. Greg and Livia made it there early enough to get us a good spot. The opening act was JJ Grey and Mofro and they were great also.

For my birthday present this year, Rebecca arranged for us to fly in a float plane from where Greg works, Seattle Seaplanes at the south end of Lake Union. J stayed with her Grandmother. It was an evening flight, Greg gave us the standard tour of downtown first, and then we headed to Poulsbo to have dinner before racing the setting sun to land back in Lake Union. It was the first time I had flown with Greg, and it was a great time. Rebecca especially enjoyed the trip and found it very romantic.

One of the sights we took in from the air was our home. The red dots in the picture are the four corners of our lot.

Lastly, here is another picture of a house with a front porch in our neighborhood. We take nightly walks with the dogs and J and I take photos of houses with nice front porches as inspiration for the front porch we will eventually add to our home.
