Thanksgiving trip

Here are pictures from our recent trip back to Indiana to see my family. We had a great time and were able to spend lots of time with everyone and play lots of Euchre. And we were lucky to have great weather the whole trip, warm and sunny.

On a recent weekend we rode our bikes down to the Sustainable Ballard festival where we learned about solar energy, etc. it was wonderful weather.

We picked up rebecca's new Kona Ute this evening. It rides very comfortably. She even gave me a ride on the back deck. We still need to get a few add on's to enable the girls to ride.

Labor Day weekend at the cabin

We spent Labor Day weekend at Rebecca's parents' cabin on Lake Wenatchee. We drove over on Saturday afternoon and stayed until Monday afternoon. It was nice to get away from the city and have peace and quiet. The girls loved playing down at the beach and spending time with their grandparents. Rebecca and I enjoyed being able to go for a bike ride and a nice walk while the kids were watched by Rebecca's parents. Hopefully we are able to go back once more before the cabin is shutdown for winter. Here are some random pictures....

We took a great trip out to the coast to cape disappointment park. Had a great time. Time for naps on the way home.

Fourth of July Trip

Our family traveled back to Indiana to visit relatives on the 4th of July holiday. We spent a week there visiting my parents and my sisters and their families. It was over 100 degrees every day we were there, much different than a "Seattle summer" of mid-70's. We also met up with one of my old college roommates, Dave, and his family. It was a great trip and we are looking forward to our next trip home. Here are some photos from the trip....
