You get really high up on the Seattle Ferris wheel. Rebecca doesn't like heights and the glass doors on the ride didn't inspire confidence. I call this photo "A mother's worried hand". AHG was fearless.

My friend, Mark C., Found this flyer in his parents files. It is advertising the neighborhood that I was born in. The covered bridge was unfortunately burned down by vandals in 1957.

Annual pumpkin carving 2014

We hosted our annual pumpkin carving party last weekend. It was the usual fun time and nobody was injured.

Wet day on the trail

Gus and I went for a hike in a local park. It was a typical soggy Fall day in the northwest. It was nice to get outside.

Muddy day at the dog park

Gus and I had fun at the dog park when I went to wear him out prior to our pumpkin carving party last weekend. But the dog park was a bit muddy as you can see. It took an hour at the dog wash place to get him clean.

He loved the dog park, but is miserable at the dog wash place.

AHG's bear costume

AHG's Seattle grandma has made her a cute bear costume for Halloween. Luckily Gus didn't freak out when he saw it.

We went up to the cabin last weekend. J's grandpa took her fishing at Fish Lake. Unfortunately we didn't catch anything that day, but we rented a boat the next day and caught a big fish.

I am wondering what Gus is going to think of it, he is frightened by blowing leaves on our walks.

Trip to Sunday market

We rode our bikes down to the farmers market this morning. Great weather and home in time to watch the Seahawks take on the Broncos.
