Tubing at snoqualmie pass

We continued our tour of northwest destinations and went tubing at snoqualmie pass. AHG had a great time, J decided she preferred to have more control when going downhill on snow. She'll stick with skiing.

Skiing at Crystal Mountain

Rebecca, J and I went skiing at Crystal Mountain. It was great weather, and there were no crowds because it was Monday and most people were at work. AHG stayed with her grandparents and went to see the nutcracker ballet.

Cousins came to visit

The girls' cousins from Tucson came to visit last weekend. This is them all having breakfast together on the morning that they were returning home.

J made this cute boat this weekend when we went to the Fall Fishermens Festival this weekend. It was a great festival with many tents where the kids could do free craft activities.

AHG's first day at kindergarten

I am a little late posting this, AHG started school a few weeks ago. She loves her new school and has made several friends in the neighborhood.

Lake Wenatchee for labor day weekend

> We went over to Rebecca's parents cabin on Lake Wenatchee last weekend. We went hiking and horseback riding. Rebecca has been wanting to go riding at the state park there for many many years, so it was nice for her finally to go.

Trip to Vashon Island to watch border collie trials

We took a ferry over to Vashon Island to watch a border collie trials competition. The dogs and their handlers were impressive. Maybe Gus could try it sometime, but we would have to tie a squirrel onto the backs of the sheep to keep him interested.

Lake Wenatchee for labor day weekend

We went over to Rebecca's parents cabin on Lake Wenatchee last weekend. We went hiking and horseback riding. Rebecca has been wanting to go riding at the state park there for many many years, so it was nice for her finally to go.

The ride lasted 45 minutes through the woods. AHG kept wanting Magee to get out horse, Repeat, to gallop, but I think it has been a very long tonne since he went fast. It was a very relaxing trip.

Finally finished VW can Leo model

J and I finally finished the Lego vw van that Rebecca gave us for Christmas a year and a half ago. I am so scared of it falling on the floor and shattering into a million pieces that I won't let the girls play with it unsupervised. It looks pretty neat.
