While we were on Maui, Rebecca and I went on the "Bike it Maui", Guided sunrise bike tour down Mount Haleakala. It was really fun, I am glad we did it. We didn't get lucky enough to see the sunrise from the top of the volcano because of the weather, but as you can see in the photo, we had great weather on the ride down.




Rebecca and I have returned from Maui refreshed and relaxed. Last weekend we spent a lot of the weekend around the house enjoying the nice spring weather we have been having. Here are some pictures I took of our daughters playing together on the kitchen floor.

Iao needle on Maui

Rebecca and drove over to the Iao Needle this morning. It was nice weather for a short hike from a visitor's center up to the upper parking lot and then up to a viewing area beyond that. It is a little higher than the house we are staying at and there were more clouds than we expected, but it made it cool and breezy while we were walking. It was nice to stretch our legs. If you look closely at the picture of the flower, you will see the spider hanging out inside.
