J is learning the flute

J is learning the flute. We bought her a plastic one made just for kids. Instead of being straight, it has a J-turn in it. In this photo she is practicing with just part of it. Once she gets the three sounds out of this part, she will connect it with the rest, the part with all the keys. I have been impressed with how good she has been about practicing. She sees a teacher once a week.
