A trip to the shore at low tide

Last weekend it was a very low tide in the morning, maybe because of the same sun/moon alignment that led to the eclipse the next day. We went down to the park on the water near our home and went to see the tide pools. The most interesting discovery was the HUGE snail Rebecca found. It is hard to get a sense of scale from the photo, but the snail was about 8 inches across!
